Most commercial briquettes contains additives such as: Sodium Nitrate, Clay, Limestone and Sawdust. Natural lump charcoal is easy to light. No lighter fluid needed, just a few sheets of paper in a charcoal sleeve. Lighting with just paper means no odd flavors added to your food. Once lit you'll be ready to cook in about 5 minutes.
